3.5 / 5 - After trying out the deviled eggs at District in San Jose, we just had to see if the eggs at the San Francisco location met our expectations… sadly, they fell a bit short. The egg whites again were perfectly cooked, and we continued to appreciate the unique flavor to the filling with the fermented chilis. However, we felt the filling was a bit more bland compared to the other District location. Something was just… missing. However, the artistic “painting” of the filling in the eggs and pristine topping placement can’t be left out.
